Yorkshire Terriers may be small in size, but they are huge in personality. These feisty, affectionate little dogs are among the most popular toy breeds in the world. Their long, silky coat gives them an elegant appearance, but underneath is a brave, spirited terrier that was originally bred to catch rats in clothing mills. Yorkies are adaptable dogs that do well in apartments and love being with their people.
